Launch of Scottish Tourism Careers Festival 2012 at the Springboard Ambassadors Networking Event hosted by Gleneagles Hotel on 1 March 2012

The Scottish Tourism Careers Festival will begin on a real high when Fergus Ewing, Minister for Energy, Enterprise and Tourism, launches the event at the prestigious Gleneagles Hotel on 1 March.

Our inaugural Festival event will bring together industry players and Springboard industry Ambassadors from all over Scotland. Participants will have the opportunity to share best practice and to hear about the role of the TFFC Skills Group and the programme of events planned for Festival month. We will also be showcasing the invaluable work of our Ambassadors and encouraging industry leaders to spread the word about this important programme among their fellow industry colleagues.

Ambassadors have proved to be hugely influential in improving the profile of the industry both amongst schools and colleges and the wider community. With the help of this programme individual businesses can provide recognition for their star employees whilst also raising the profile of their organisation and the industry as a whole. At this event we intend to celebrate the tremendous commitment shown by these individuals and the employers who support them!
