Springboard UK Ambassadors are people already working in the industry and have been specially selected for their passion and enthusiasm for their job.
They are appointed to spread the word about the exciting, varied and real opportunities across the industry, going into to schools and colleges, speaking to teachers and parents, as well as attending Careers Events and co-ordinating show rounds.

As bright, progressive advocates at the sharp end, Ambassadors provide a realistic insight into the job opportunities and the progression routes available based on their own, often amusing, experiences. They showcase not only the industry as a whole but also their own businesses as great places to work.
Springboard provides a specialist 2 day presentation and promotional skills course, with supporting resources and materials. Since 1996 the Springboard Charity has delivered hundreds of Ambassador Programmes and 2011 saw the 1000th Ambassador be trained.
Ambassadors commit to working with local schools, colleges and other target groups and feedback on their visits. So far in 2011 alone, our existing Ambassadors have engaged with over 5000 individuals from all across the UK promoting the Hospitality & Tourism industries as great places to work, sharing their experiences and promoting their organisations as employers of choice.
